  Lina Peña, student of the Professional Master’s Degree in Multi-Device Web Design: UX/UI at ESDESIGN, presents her project, MAKI – ¡La Aventura es Colombia!. 

Maki is the first search and booking engine for accommodation and activities focused on biodiverse, natural and ecological tourism in Colombia. It is an innovative web platform and mobile application designed for conscious travellers and ecotourism service providers. It facilitates direct connection between the traveller and the provider, simplifying the planning and management of authentic experiences. Its proposal highlights the landscapes and natural richness of one of the most biodiverse countries in the world.

In addition to offering memorable experiences, Maki promotes preservation, conservation and environmental education initiatives within local communities. The project aims to generate a positive and lasting impact on the biodiversity of the territory. Its development strengthened the vision of positioning Colombia as a global benchmark for ecological and sustainable tourism. In this way, it integrates technology, sustainability and environmental commitment into a single platform.
