Creative director with over 20 years dedicated to advertising creativity and brand building. He has worked in major agencies on projects for clients such as PepsiCo, Bayer, Bimbo, Caixabank, Heinz, Apple, Sony Playstation, Volkswagen, Illa Diagonal, Fira de Barcelona, Banco Santander, and Greenpeace, among others.
You will study the most common consumer profiles in marketing, analyzing their emotional, psychological, and technological behaviors. You will learn how different groups adopt technology, what motivates them, and how they communicate, enabling you to identify their needs and connect with them more effectively.

With a background in agencies such as BBDO, Ogilvy, DoubleYou, and McCann, she has worked for brands like Volkswagen, Lidl, Nike, Heura, and Ikea as a brand planner in Spain and international markets (Amsterdam and China). She currently works independently, collaborating with national and international agencies to co-create spaces where the audience and their concerns are central to brand performance.
You will explore how technology is transforming the relationship between brands and consumers. Key trends such as neuromarketing, the Internet of Things, artificial intelligence, Big Data, 3D printing, and augmented reality will be reviewed, understanding their impact on user behavior. Rather than becoming an expert in each, you will learn to identify the potential of these innovations to apply them strategically in branding and communication.

He has worked for four years developing B2B and B2C e-commerce applications for various clients. He was part of an agency in Australia, collaborating with clients such as Commonwealth Bank, Optus, Omo, Google, NRMA, Lexus, among others.
Tablets and smartphones have become fully integrated into our daily lives, acting as constant channels through which information and content flow at high speed. Their adoption has transformed how we consume and interact with brands. Understanding this dynamic will enable you to engage with consumers naturally and non-invasively.

Founder of Kings of Mambo, a digital creative studio established in 2004, with key clients including Grupo Godó, RBA, Vueling, Infojobs, Seat, and Custo Barcelona, among others. He has participated as a speaker at events such as OFF Barcelona, Adobe Graphispack sessions, and served as a juror for the Laus Awards 2010.
You will understand that today no brand is limited to one-way communication. You will learn to build human, lasting relationships with clients, delivering real value to society and showing genuine commitment to the issues and causes that truly matter. You will develop the ability to convey honesty and consistency to connect meaningfully and durably with your audience.

She has developed strategic communication and brand projects for companies such as La Casera, Domino’s Pizza, and Pantene, as well as Creative Orchestra in London with Total Greek Yogurt. She later joined Jazz, driving brand and communication strategy for clients like Nike, Canon, and Holaluz. She currently works freelance for brands in national and international markets.
You will explore how everything around us is changing: how we shop, what we eat, how we find partners, manage our time, travel, and interact with our environment. You will analyze the small changes that shape this constantly evolving reality and delve into the reasons driving them.

With over 20 years of experience in qualitative social, cultural, and consumer research, she provides strategic insights to drive creativity, innovation, and communication. A strong advocate for collaboration and the role of new generations as change agents, she connects culture, society, and human behavior to create relevant, impactful projects.
You will learn how brands build their identity and connect with society in a constantly changing digital world. You will see that everything communicates: from a logo or advertisement to the scent of a store or an employee’s uniform. You will analyze how brands integrate into culture, develop strategies beyond communication, and use visual branding to convey personality and achieve recognition.

He has worked as an art director for companies such as Renault, Seat, Cupra, Audi, Fundació Catalunya La Pedrera, and Abertis. In 2004, he founded Tàctica, a multidisciplinary studio for design, art direction, and advertising, and combines his professional work with over 20 years of teaching at various institutions.
You will understand how the digital environment opens new ways for brands to connect with consumers. You will learn to master the language of digital marketing and explore all disciplines that link brands, consumers, and technology. The goal is to gain a broad, strategic perspective that allows you to fully leverage the opportunities offered by the digital era.

Co-author of the book Mi yo Digital, she is passionate about digital transformation, digital identity, and new forms of communication. She has worked in social media and digital identity consulting for sectors such as fashion, gastronomy, and lifestyle, and collaborated with companies like IBM, Mercedes, and Natura Bissé. She currently combines teaching with freelance projects in digital strategy, research, and creativity in national and international markets.
You will analyze why some brands fail to have a voice and how others lose credibility trying to be everywhere. You will understand that a brand needs to find its own purpose beyond selling products and learn to identify connection points with a specific audience. This subject will teach you to turn those connections into authentic stories that engage and captivate consumers.

She has worked with major companies such as IKEA, San Miguel, Danone, Vueling, and Moritz, developing projects from viral campaigns to brand documentaries, and has held roles in agencies and companies like Catalunya Ràdio, Nació Digital, and Cuideo. She has received awards including CdeC, Laus, and Ojo de Iberoamérica.
You will explore how a brand translates into packaging design capable of communicating, differentiating, and attracting. You will learn the history of packaging, the strategies a product needs, and the narrative it should convey. You will analyze references and trends across different sectors to understand what works in the market. MARC RIERA, GRAPHIC DESIGNER AND CEO OF GAMN DISSENY
He has worked in studios specializing in corporate identity, signage, exhibition, and museography such as Signes and DPC. Since 2003, he has led his own studio, establishing himself as a specialist in branding and packaging for the wine sector. Recognized in this field, he combines his professional work with teaching.
You will discover how to design packaging that is not only attractive but also functional and consistent with brand identity. You will analyze the requirements a product must meet to be viable for transport, storage, and use. You will study the different types of packaging available on the market and learn to select the most suitable for your proposal. Finally, you will develop your own designs considering form, function, and communication.

ÍNGRID TORAN, CREATIVE DIRECTOR, SPECIALIST IN BRANDING AND PACKAGING, AND CEO AT BLOU AND ROI
Founder and creative director of Blou and Rooi, a design studio specializing in branding and packaging recognized with Laus and Anuaria awards. Graduated in graphic design from Eina, she has worked in top agencies such as Morillas, leading projects for Nike, Nestlé, Danone, Cumlaude Lab, and Fedrigoni. She currently serves as Secretary General of ADG-FAD and combines her professional work with teaching corporate identity, branding, and packaging at various universities in Barcelona.
You will explore how graphic design can transform packaging into a strong, memorable visual identity. You will learn to define a product’s look & feel using images, typography, color, and composition. You will work on content hierarchy and graphic resources that communicate clearly and capture attention on the shelf. The goal is to apply graphic design strategically to reinforce brand value and personality.

ADRIAN MARTOS, CREATIVE DIRECTOR AND GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Specialized in visual identities and creative content direction, he develops strong narratives through impactful images and innovative ideas. He has worked for institutions and brands such as Generalitat de Catalunya, Ajuntament de Barcelona, Filmin, 3Cat, CANADA, ADI-FAD, and Filmax, as well as projects in the music sector. His work has been recognized with several ADG Laus Awards, including for the packaging project El otro pariente and the audiovisual project Alto Cielo for the artist Queralt Lahoz.
You will delve into structural packaging design, learning to create both containers and wrapping that protect, optimize, and enhance the product. You will study key technical aspects to ensure products reach consumers in perfect condition. You will work with shapes, dimensions, materials, opening systems, folds, and protective elements, as well as strategies to reduce waste and facilitate recycling.

SERGIO MARTOS CID, STRUCTURAL PACKAGING DESIGNER
With over 11 years of experience in graphic arts, he has developed his career in companies such as Graphic Packaging, Vidal Bosch, and Innovapack, where he currently works as a structural packaging designer. Specializing in box and packaging development, he combines innovation and technical feasibility to transform client needs into production-ready solutions.
You will explore in detail the main production methods applied to packaging, understanding what systems exist, how they work, and the advantages each offers. You will learn about the most commonly used materials, inks, substrates, and finishes, selecting the right ones according to the product’s needs. You will also discover their possibilities, limitations, and how they affect the final outcome.

NURIA GARCÍA, DIRECTOR AND FOUNDER OF I AM NURIA
Specialist in creative consulting applied to print production, she guides creatives, studios, and agencies throughout the entire process, from concept to realization. Her work focuses on finding innovative and sustainable solutions for each project, ensuring productivity, quality, and feasibility in printed pieces.
Software learning lab for Adobe Creative Cloud, where you will work with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom. Resources and exercises are structured across three difficulty levels: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. You will receive guidance from a professional instructor expert in these tools. Duration: 6 weeks, running alongside the introductory workshop and the first subject.

After working in various studios and agencies, in 2016 he founded Pino, a design studio that has collaborated with major brands such as Burger King UK, Burger King ROI, Wyndham Hotels, Port de Barcelona, Cauchos Karey, Albert and Ferran Adrià, Equilibrium, actahotels; restaurants like Granja Elena, Almarge, Grupo Capet; and educational platforms such as Esade and Aurea.
You will learn to identify the essential elements of a professional brief and translate client objectives into clear creative direction. You will understand how communication strategy guides all project decisions and develop the ability to synthesize information precisely and actionably. This workshop offers a practical and fluid understanding of an indispensable tool for working effectively as an art director.

Independent consultant specializing in digital marketing, omnichannel strategies, and instructional design. She is co-founder of Shine Projects, where she develops customized e-learning solutions for companies, institutions, and sales teams. She combines her consulting work with teaching.
AI has arrived to revolutionize the communication sector as well. Beyond its benefits in process optimization and quality of results, it will change the skills professionals need. Founder and Head Storyteller at Storytelling&Co., specialised in the strategic use of corporate narratives as a communication tool. For more than 10 years, he has worked with companies, organisations, and institutions helping them build authentic and emotional stories that connect with their audiences. He is also part of the Red de Consultores Totales, where he promotes the creation of purpose-driven, human, and collaborative businesses capable of generating value and a sense of belonging.
You will explore the principles of Design Thinking through a new perspective on collaborative design that places the user at the centre and rethinks and adapts traditional design processes. You will acquire the tools needed to develop new methodologies in creative and entrepreneurial processes, using the latest techniques such as Manual Thinking, SCAMPER and lateral thinking.

He studied art and industrial design. He works across design, architecture, communication, cultural management and social activism, and writes specialised articles and books.

TOMOKO SAKAMOTO, CO-FOUNDER OF SPREAD
Architect, editor and designer of architecture and design books at Actar. She has designed and coordinated several exhibitions at the RAS exhibition space/bookshop.
In addition to completing the credits from the previous modules, all students must develop a comprehensive Master’s project, consisting of a personal project in branding, visual identity design, and overall packaging based on the content covered in the course.
Students must demonstrate their analytical and synthesis skills and show that they have acquired a working methodology to develop the project through each of its phases.

During the Double Master’s, you can become certified as an expert in the various Adobe Creative Cloud software through Adobe Certified Professional, a recognized industry certification that demonstrates mastery of Creative Cloud software and fundamental knowledge for careers in digital media.
In the Double Master’s in Branding, Packaging, and Visual Identity, we provide preparation to certify in visual design with Adobe Photoshop Professional, graphic design and illustration with Adobe Illustrator Professional, and print and digital publishing with Adobe InDesign Professional. Throughout the program, you will have a support plan to take the exams with confidence, including software-specific content, a supplementary video library, and guided tool orientation in the learning labs.

Upon successful completion of the program and after completing the necessary procedures, you will receive the continuing education Master’s degree in Branding, Creativity, and Brand Communication and the continuing education Master’s degree in Packaging and Visual Identity, awarded by ESDESIGN. Additionally, you will have the option to obtain the continuing education Master’s degree from the Universidad Internacional de Valencia, provided you meet the established academic, documentation, payment, and administrative requirements.
To obtain this degree, you must hold a University Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Licentiate, or Diploma). In the exceptional case of not holding such a degree, if you have proven minimal professional experience in the relevant field and have passed the Master’s evaluations, you will receive a Certificate from the Universidad Internacional de Valencia (VIU).
