FAQs
The main difference lies in which part of the space is being transformed. Interior design is responsible for planning and executing the habitable structure: you decide on the new layout of the partition walls, the hidden installations and, above all, the technical materiality. You choose the flooring, wall coverings, integrated lighting, and fixed finishes that define the shell of the space. It is a technical discipline that transforms a property from its structural base to ensure it is functional and healthy.
Interior decoration, on the other hand, comes into play once the shell is defined. Its mastery lies in dressing that space through furniture, objects, textiles, and movable elements. While a decorator specialises in creating the final atmosphere through furnishing and styling, an interior designer is the one who plans the comprehensive renovation and selects the construction materials and permanent finishes that bring the home’s architecture to life.
No. As this is a 100% online Master’s degree, all assessments are digital. The Final Master’s Project (TFM) is developed through tutored submissions and is defended before an expert panel via video conference, allowing you to professionalise your public speaking and presentation skills remotely.
The programme does not include mandatory curricular internships, as its methodology is based on "learning by doing" through projects that simulate real commissions. However, through our TALENTO Ecosystem, you will have access to job offers, networking, and employability services to connect directly with studios and companies within the sector.
It is not necessary. The Master’s degree includes a Spaces Open Classroom where you will learn AutoCAD from scratch. This space levels your technical skills so that you can transform your ideas into professional technical documentation, regardless of your starting point.
Yes. The programme explores spatial planning and ergonomics in depth from an architectural perspective. You will learn to intervene in the functional structure of a space (integrated kitchens, hybrid work-home zones, etc.), optimising the relationships between rooms to improve the well-being and health of the users.
