Student Portfolio: Two houses that come together in Ibiza, Islas Baleares

Licci Tió, Angie Croussett, students of the Professional Master’s Degree in Interior Design at ESDESIGN, present their project, 

Two houses that come together in Ibiza, Islas Baleares.

This project reinterprets the iconic Casa das Canoas by Oscar Niemeyer, transferring its principles of integration with nature, sensuality of forms and transparency to the design of a contemporary home in Ibiza. The proposal connects architecture, landscape and wellbeing from a current and functional perspective.

The design opts for a fluid layout and intergenerational spaces, where interior and exterior maintain a constant dialogue. The use of natural materials, curved lines, abundant light and references to Brazilian and Mexican modernism generates a balanced, warm home deeply connected to its surroundings.

This Master’s Final Project reflects the approach of the online Professional Master’s Degree in Design at ESDESIGN, where students learn to develop real interior design projects, from concept to executive project.
