Study Plan
The continuing education Double Master’s in Interior Design and Decoration consists of 15 subjects, the Double Master’s Final Project, 1 Open Class on Spaces, 3 program workshops, and 2 transversal workshops:
This module explores the fundamentals of interior design and home decoration from a critical and evolving perspective, reflecting on how we inhabit spaces today. Throughout the module, you will develop your aesthetic sensitivity and your own design language, understanding the principles that allow the creation of coherent, functional, and meaningful environments.

Specialized in national and international residential projects. Currently a project leader at Lázaro Rosa-Violán studio. She has worked at studios such as RCR Arquitectes and DS Architecture, handling everything from competitions to construction management.
You will learn to present your ideas intuitively, visually, and professionally, compiling all project documentation into models, layouts, and client-ready files. You will work with tools to create attractive images and communicate your proposals clearly and coherently. The goal is to master the graphic resources needed to make your projects stand out and connect visually from the first interaction.

JORGE WIMES, FOUNDER AND CREATIVE DIRECTOR AT MANEKO
Graphic and UX/UI designer with over 16 years of experience in interactive and digital projects. He has witnessed the evolution of digital media across many top-tier companies.
You will focus on the details that bring warmth and personality to a space, developing your own style across different settings. You will learn to maintain coherence in each proposal, regardless of location. Additionally, you will pay special attention to elements such as light, color, and materials that help clients feel the project is theirs and connect with the created environment.

In 2009, she founded her own interior design studio, Esther Rico Design & Business. She collaborates with different professionals to provide a comprehensive service. At the studio, she applies a 360º strategy, leveraging her background in economics and design to offer a unique perspective where creativity and business methodology complement each other.
As a designer, your goal will be to create interiors that genuinely enhance people’s well-being. You will learn to look beyond aesthetics and aim for deep comfort that transforms the experience of those inhabiting a space. You will discover how to endow interiors with visible and invisible qualities that impact daily life, especially considering that we spend 90% of our time indoors. Material selection will be key, and you will apply solid criteria based on their relationship with light, sound, and air quality.

MAGALÍ BASTIDAS, DIRECTOR AT MAGALÍ BASTIDAS AND DESIGNER SPECIALIZING IN RESIDENTIAL INTERIORS
She founded her eponymous studio in 2020 after more than 10 years leading high-end projects at Adela Cabré’s office. She stands out for her ability to visualize, organize, and project spaces, as well as her knowledge of the full value chain of the sector and various market segments. Previously, she worked at IKEA, developing spaces for the showroom department.
You will reflect on what it means to live well today and how our ways of inhabiting spaces are changing. You will analyze new models of coexistence, the impact of urban growth, and the rise of neo-ruralism. Through social, economic, and technological trends, you will learn to interpret the evolution of everyday life and propose innovative, sustainable solutions that respond to these new realities.

ENZO VIGNOLO CASCANTE, ARCHITECT, DESIGNER, CO-FOUNDER OF L'UFFICIO DESIGN GROUP
Specialist in interior design, sustainability, and healthy interiors. Works as an architect and designer in various countries, managing his own office and collaborating with other professionals.
You will explore how domestic spaces have evolved and how each room relates to the others: open-plan kitchens connected to living rooms, bedrooms with wellness areas, or bathrooms integrated into new routines. You will analyze the different levels of privacy within a home and how they impact design. The goal is to understand the functional and environmental complexity of each space and learn to create coherent, fluid connections between them.

CÉCILE CARRÉ LLUCH, CREATIVE DIRECTOR, CO-FOUNDER MisMÁS INTERIOR DESIGN
Interior architect. She founded the interior design studio MisMÁS with two partners, handling projects including residential renovations, commercial spaces, spas, and hotels, mainly in Catalonia and southern France. She has taught commercial interior design at Artidi, a school for window dressing and visual merchandising.
You will immerse yourself in the professional reality of interior design, learning to manage teams, coordinate contractors, and handle client expectations and changes. You will work on project presentations, fee proposals, and organizing each phase of construction. Through real-life experiences, you will understand the complete process: from the first client contact to the final photoshoot once the project is completed.

He has developed and directed projects such as shopping centers, multi- and single-family housing, and corporate offices. He has received several awards, including first prize in the public competition for the new “Biblioteca Comarcal de la Bisbal d’Empordà, 2008.”
You will enter the most tangible phase of interior design: on-site work. You will understand how a real project is executed, learning the processes, work sequences, and key decisions needed to ensure your designs are realized as intended. Drawing on years of professional experience, you will receive practical advice and criteria to approach a full-scale renovation confidently. You will develop a realistic, evolving, and mindful perspective of on-site work, understanding the challenges and opportunities that arise during construction.

CARLOS ALONSO, PH.D. ARCHITECT, RESEARCHER IN ENVIRONMENTAL AND SUSTAINABLE DESIGN
He has focused his career on architecture and interior architecture design, collaborating with studios such as Alfredo Arribas Arquitect@s Asociados, TDB-Arquitectura, and Coblonal Arquitectura, and currently works independently. He has received several awards in architecture.
You will develop the most technical aspects of interior design, learning to transform an idea into professional documentation that can guide contractors during construction. You will see how to organize a studio and prepare before receiving your first project, approaching each assignment with structure and confidence. Once the client approves the preliminary design, you will learn to draft all plans, reports, and details needed to complete the final project, defining every aspect prior to on-site supervision.

Senior technical architect and building engineer. Co-founder of the group, leading a national and international holding in the construction sector, including construction and installation companies. As Technical Director, he oversees the management and execution of rehabilitation projects in commercial and residential spaces.
In an interior design project, installations are essential both for comfort and for the final budget. They are not limited to switches or faucets: most are hidden and often overlooked, leaving key decisions to the installer. You will learn to plan them properly and integrate them professionally to ensure a coherent and high-quality result.

He founded Estudi 03mm with David Obón and Albert Lluch, winning multiple awards and executing projects such as the Biblioteca Comarcal de la Bisbal d'Empordà. He also undertakes independent projects in collaboration with architects, interior, graphic, and product designers across a wide range of interior design projects.
You will learn to use lighting as a key tool in interior design, analyzing different types of light, their influence on space perception, and their application for each environment. You will work on selecting fixtures, creating lighting schemes, and adjusting levels to craft functional and aesthetic atmospheres. The goal is to develop professional judgment to illuminate any project, enhancing its architecture and user experience.

He develops architectural, interior, landscape, and urban lighting projects in various countries. An architect specializing in lighting design, his career is marked by a deep understanding of both natural and artificial light, which he applies in his projects and photography.
To decorate an interior space effectively, it is important to study its function to make a well-proportioned and thoughtfully designed proposal. Carefully analyzing daily habits allows for precise choices in furniture selection, considering size, shape, and arrangement. Developing an eye for good design, interpreting clever details that enhance your decoration proposals, and nurturing creativity for present and future designs are key objectives of this module.

She has developed her professional career in her own studio, executing projects in residential, hospitality, contract, and retail sectors.
Clients expect you to address their needs, new uses, and desires through an effective layout. You will learn to optimize each space to make it more functional, aesthetic, and coherent. You will develop the ability to improve circulation and enhance user comfort. The course covers furniture design as the “second skin” of a space, creating solutions with more storage and better organization. You will also reduce visual clutter to achieve clearer, practical, and balanced environments.

ANNA CANALS, INTERIOR DESIGNER
She began her professional career at Wasabis Studio and has since collaborated with various studios and companies. Currently, she participates in projects with Gemma Sallent Estudio and Feliu Franquesa Inmobiliaria, combining professional practice with teaching to bring students closer to real interior design processes.
Details matter because they bring character and warmth to a space. You will learn to master floral design to create compositions that harmonize with the environment. You will know how to choose the right wall for each artwork and hang it at the optimal height. You will discover how to arrange books on a shelf to balance aesthetics and functionality. You will explore how to combine textiles to enhance key pieces such as the sofa. Mastering all these elements will allow you to complete each project with coherence, personality, and precision.

RAQUEL CURRAIS, INTERIOR DESIGNER AND STYLIST AT IKEA MARKETING AND COMMUNICATIONS AB
She began her career at the interior design studio Maite Baquedano and later joined the multinational IKEA. Over time, she has grown professionally to reach IKEA’s headquarters in Sweden, where she currently designs spaces for one of the world’s most renowned catalogs and creates content for web and social media.
Aprenderás a gestionar de forma profesional cada fase de un proyecto de interiorismo, desde la relación directa con el cliente hasta la planificación y ejecución final. Trabajarás estrategias de organización, métodos para coordinar tareas y herramientas para transformar tus ideas en un proceso ágil y eficiente. El objetivo es que desarrolles la capacidad de liderar un proyecto real, optimizando tiempos, recursos y comunicación para garantizar resultados exitosos.

Ha trabajado como director de arte para empresas como Renault, Seat, Cupra, Audi, Fundació Catalunya la Pedrera o Abertis. En 2004 fundó Tàctica, estudio multidisciplinar de diseño, dirección de arte y publicidad, y compagina su labor profesional con más de 20 años de docencia en diferentes instituciones.
Learning environment focused on AutoCAD software and representation drawing. You will have access to resources and exercises structured across three levels of difficulty: beginner, intermediate and advanced. You will be supported by a professional lecturer specialised in these tools. Duration: 6 weeks, running in parallel with the introductory workshop and the first subject.

Home Staging is a widely used technique by real estate professionals to facilitate property sales, and in this workshop you will discover how to apply it professionally. You will explore lighting from a technical and functional perspective and learn to create atmospheres that meet the needs and expectations of potential buyers.

He is also part of the Red de Consultores Totales, where he promotes the creation of purpose-driven, human, and collaborative businesses capable of generating value and a sense of belonging.
You will explore the principles of Design Thinking through a new perspective on collaborative design that places the user at the centre and rethinks and adapts traditional design processes. Qualification
Upon successful completion of the programme and after completing the required administrative procedures, you will receive the ESDESIGN Master’s Degree. In addition, you will have the possibility of obtaining a Lifelong Learning Master’s Degree from the Universidad Internacional de Valencia, provided that you meet the academic, documentation, payment and administrative requirements established by the institution.
To obtain this qualification, you must hold a prior university degree (Bachelor’s Degree, Engineering Degree or equivalent).
