Pepa Casado, ESDESIGN lecturer, to take part in trendFEST 2026
Pepa Casado D'Amato, lecturer on the Master's in Interior Design at ESDESIGN, Higher School of Design in Barcelona, part of Planeta Formación y Universidades, will take part in trendFEST 2026 on 17 September, an event dedicated to further exploring the future of CMF (Colour, Material & Finish) and the connections between trends, materials and design.
The event, which will take place in Madrid, is organised by AMBIT - Living Spaces Cluster, curated by Futurea and supported by ACTIU. The event will bring together professionals and companies from the sector to share knowledge, discover new colour trends for 2027/2028, explore new materials and consider different ways of putting trends into practice.
The lecturer will lead the presentation of Color Trends 27/28, a report by Futurea, the company she co-founded. The report analyses the key trends in colour, materials and finishes that will shape design in 2027/2028, as well as offering insights to help anticipate emerging market scenarios.
The event will also feature Cathy Figueiredo and Adele Orcajada, from MaterialDriven and Amiguis, respectively, who will offer different perspectives on trends, materials and food design. The event will conclude with a Color & Meet, an opportunity to share impressions and foster connections among professionals.
The participation of Pepa Casado reflects ESDESIGN's commitment to education that is closely connected to professional practice and to the trends shaping the present and future of design.
