Laura Meseguer receives three awards at the ADG Laus Awards 2026
Laura Meseguer, lecturer on the Master's in Editorial Design and Digital Publications at ESDESIGN, the Higher School of Design in Barcelona, part of Planeta Formación y Universidades, has received three awards at the ADG Laus Awards 2026, held on 11 June, one of Spain's leading events for graphic design and visual communication.
Among the honours, the Silver Laus Award presented to Brise stands out. This typographic project was developed in collaboration with graphic designer Serena Gramaglia. The award recognises typography as an essential tool for building visual identities and communicating messages. The typeface family has been created for those seeking personality, texture and a delicate balance between structure and expressiveness across branding, editorial design, packaging and other digital projects.
In addition, her typeface design Placa has been honoured with a Bronze Laus Award. This recognition once again highlights the value of bespoke typeface design, in this case inspired by the distinctive style of Barcelona's traditional street signs.
Meseguer also received a second Bronze Laus Award for her contribution to the redesign of the corporate identity of Almarge, a Mediterranean and Catalan restaurant in Badalona recognised by the Michelin Guide. Creatively led by Ingrid Picanyol, the project aimed to develop a visual identity with a strong presence and distinctive character, defined by the combination of tradition and contemporary design.

Together, the three awards received by Laura Meseguer at the ADG Laus Awards 2026 highlight the importance of typographic design and visual identity as fundamental disciplines within contemporary graphic design.
At ESDESIGN, we celebrate this recognition of our lecturer's talent and career, whose work continues to drive innovation and excellence in areas such as typography, branding and editorial design, reinforcing the school's commitment to education that is closely connected to professional practice and leading creative excellence.
