LAUS Awards 2024: Three outstanding ESDESIGN students named finalists.

ESDESIGN, part of Planeta Formación y Universidades, is delighted to announce that three of its students have been selected for the LAUS Awards, an iconic distinction in the field of graphic design and visual communication in Spain. Since their inception in 1964, the LAUS Awards have been a benchmark for excellence and creativity, recognising the talent of professionals and students across various categories, from editorial design to branding and digital design.

The LAUS Awards not only celebrate the individual work of designers and creatives but also recognise the value of innovative ideas and the ability to make a positive impact on society through design. Each finalist project represents a unique approach and an original vision that contributes to the advancement and evolution of the design field.

Bucs project

Anna Jiménez Calaf has been selected for her project "Bucs", an innovative proposal for a monthly book subscription service in Catalan, designed with a fun and youthful corporate identity.

Meanwhile, Joan Corominas Trias has been recognised for his digital platform "Mass (+) BCN", which addresses the issue of mass tourism in Barcelona by promoting sustainable and responsible tourism.

Nuestros Objetos project

Finally, María Magdalena Lliteras Ribot presents "Nuestros Objetos", an editorial project focused on the importance of everyday objects. The black and white publication highlights how these objects enrich our daily lives, emphasising the use of local Spanish materials and production. This editorial project not only enriches the appreciation of design but also underlines local production and Spanish craftsmanship.

Through our participation in the prestigious LAUS Awards, we are witnessing how our students are leading the change in the future of design. We are proud to be part of this journey, driving our students towards professional success.
