ESDESIGN launches its new Online Professional Master’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence for Creativity and Design
ESDESIGN, the Higher School of Design of Barcelona, part of Planeta Formación y Universidades, introduces its new Online Professional Master’s Degree in Artificial Intelligence for Creativity and Design, a training proposal created to respond to the transformation currently reshaping the creative sector.
Artificial intelligence is already part of the present of design, communication, art direction and digital product development. With this new programme, the school takes another step forward in its commitment to education connected to professional reality and to the new tools that are redefining the way we create.
This master’s degree is designed for professionals who want to incorporate AI into their creative processes with judgement, strategy and a real-world applied perspective.
Over the course of 12 months and 60 ECTS, students will learn how to integrate generative models into real projects, from ideation and visual storytelling to workflow automation, UX/UI design, transmedia content generation and digital product development.
Beyond the use of tools, the programme focuses on something especially relevant to ESDESIGN: understanding AI as a creative ally. The academic proposal covers areas such as advanced prompting, image generation, automation, experimental typography, generative video and audio, ethics, traceability and the design of complex creative systems.
In a context where the role of the designer is constantly evolving, this new master’s degree supports that transformation and prepares students to move from technical execution to the strategic direction of processes, systems and creative experiences.
As highlighted by Jordi Blanch Grau, programme director and co-founder of the studio Atipus, the aim is to prepare students to integrate artificial intelligence into creative processes and face the new challenges of the sector.
