ESDESIGN, Barcelona Higher School of Design, part of Planeta Formación y Universidades, celebrates a new milestone in its academic and creative trajectory by reaching, for the second consecutive year, the final of the Delta Awards 2026, one of the most prestigious recognitions in product design at a national level.

In this 30th edition of the Delta Awards, coinciding with the 50th anniversary of their creation, the jury selected 15 finalist projects from a total of 104 proposals submitted by universities and design schools across Spain. Among them are two projects developed by students from the Master’s in Product Design and Digital Modelling at ESDESIGN: Boundless, by Iván Alejandro Hernández and Fátima Franco, and Domus, by Lilian Chowell and José Alberto Téllez. This recognition consolidates ESDESIGN as the only fully online school present in the final.

In addition, the school ranks among the institutions with the highest representation in this edition, sharing second place in terms of number of finalist projects.

The full selection reflects the emerging talent in contemporary design and highlights ESDESIGN’s ability to foster innovative proposals connected to real industry needs, developed through a flexible, collaborative and fully online methodology.

The finalist projects will be part of the official exhibition ‘Delta Awards 2026’, which will open on 22 July at the Disseny Hub Barcelona (DHUB), where the final ceremony and announcement of the winners will also take place. The projects will also be included in the official awards publication, further strengthening their visibility within the professional design ecosystem.

From ESDESIGN, we would like to especially congratulate Iván Alejandro Hernández, Fátima Franco, Lilian Chowell and José Alberto Téllez on this outstanding achievement, which once again places the talent of our community in one of the most relevant showcases of industrial design in Spain.

This recognition not only highlights the excellence of the projects presented, but also reinforces the school’s ability to continue training professionals prepared to transform reality through design.
