ESDESIGN launches its first 100% English-taught master’s degree

A new programme that strengthens the school’s international reach and opens the door to an even more global creative community.

ESDESIGN, the Higher School of Design of Barcelona, part of Planeta Formación y Universidades, presents the first 100% English-taught master’s degree in its history: the Online Master’s in Branding, Creativity and Brand Communication.

A launch that marks a turning point for the school and reflects its constant evolution, its international outlook and its way of understanding design as a tool connected to reality and to the world ahead.

With this new programme, ESDESIGN opens a new chapter. It is not only about expanding its academic offer, but about continuing to grow as a school without borders, capable of connecting with talent from anywhere in the world and responding to the new needs of the global creative industry.

With a duration of 12 months and 60 ECTS, the master’s degree is designed to train profiles capable of building relevant, emotional and culturally connected brands, integrating creativity, technology, social trends and brand communication from a cross-disciplinary perspective. Throughout the programme, students will work across key areas such as branding, storytelling, branded content, digital marketing, consumer behaviour, experience design and creative intelligence, always through a project-based methodology applied to real challenges.

But if there is one thing that makes this launch especially significant, it is what it represents for the school.

As the first 100% online design school born in Barcelona, ESDESIGN has always championed connected, flexible and globally minded education. This first English-taught master’s degree reinforces precisely that essence: a school in motion, connected to new perspectives, new cultures and new ways of understanding creativity.

Ultimately, it is a step forward in ESDESIGN’s evolution and a clear sign of its commitment to continuing to foster an increasingly international, diverse and professionally connected community.

The programme is led by Guille Ramírez, Creative Director at DDB Spain, and Chloe Ribas, Strategy Director and independent consultant, together with a faculty team made up of active professionals linked to leading international brands and agencies.

With this launch, ESDESIGN continues to design the future and reaffirms its way of learning: flexible, global and designed for real life.
