
Kike Costas, nominated for the 2026 ALMA Awards for the screenplay of Expediente Vallecas
Kike Costas, faculty member of the Professional Master’s Degree in Audiovisual Production and Communication at ESDESIGN, the Higher School of Design of Barcelona, part of Planeta Formación y Universidades, has been nominated for the 2026 ALMA Awards in the category of Best Documentary Series Screenplay for Expediente Vallecas, a production by Buendía Estudios available in the HBO Max catalogue.

The nomination recognises the work developed alongside Irene del Cerro and Noemí Redondo, with whom he shares authorship of the screenplay for this documentary series. The ALMA Awards, organised by the Screenwriters’ Guild, are among the most relevant recognitions within the audiovisual sector and highlight excellence in writing for film, television and documentary formats.
