Student Portfolio: The Bold Drop

Alexander Vela, student of the Professional Master’s Degree in Digital Graphic Design at ESDESIGN, presents his project, 

The Bold Drop. 

The Bold Drop is a graphic design and visual identity project that addresses plastic pollution in the Mediterranean Sea from a contemporary and positive perspective. Conceived as a start-up for furniture made from recycled marine plastic, it demonstrates how design can generate real impact.

The identity is inspired by the concept of the bold drop, a symbol that a small gesture can lead to a great change. A direct and bold visual language, together with a coherent graphic system, positions the brand as a reference in sustainability linked to design and the Mediterranean lifestyle.

This Master’s Final Project is developed within the Professional Master’s Degree in Digital Graphic Design at ESDESIGN, where students work with brand strategy, visual identity, typography and digital and physical applications. An example of strong brands that form part of a professional portfolio in graphic design.
