Review by Eduardo Antolí, student of the Master’s in Design and Art Direction
Our student Eduardo Antolí, from the Master’s in Design and Art Direction, tells us about his experience at ESDESIGN.
Why did you decide to take the Master’s in Design and Art Direction at ESDESIGN?
I wanted to continue growing professionally, and I saw a very comprehensive programme at ESDESIGN. At first, I was a bit apprehensive about it being entirely online, but I must say I am very happy and satisfied with how the school operates.
Do you feel you have learned design that can be applied to real life and the workplace?
I have learned from every subject I undertook each month, and every experience is always applicable to life, both personally and professionally.
Define ESDESIGN in three words:
Intense, fresh, and rewarding.
Who is your go-to designer or reference?
My designer, friend, and reference is Xavier Gallego, the creator of Eyesores.
What are you currently working on?
I am currently working as a Motion Graphic Designer at Mediapro, in the graphic department for television channels.
At ESDESIGN, we identify with four values: Movement, Connection, Disruption, and Vertigo. Which value do you identify with? Why?
Movement. We have to be in constant movement because if we stand still, we don't learn, we don't live, and we don't experiment. Regardless of the direction, movement is necessary for growth.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to study Art Direction?
Consistency. I believe you have to be consistent, not just in knowing a lot about one thing, but in knowing a bit about many things.
Thank you very much for sharing your experience, Eduardo! :D
