Review by Júlia del Pozo, student of the Professional Master’s Degree in Branding and Creative Brand Communication

Our student Júlia del Pozo, from the Professional Master’s Degree in Branding and Creative Brand Communication, shares her review on her experience at ESDESIGN.

Tell us briefly who you are.

My name is Júlia, I am 28 years old. I currently work in Marketing and Brand Communication and I am studying the Professional Master’s Degree in Branding and Creative Brand Communication at ESDESIGN.

Why did you decide to take the Professional Master’s Degree in Branding and Creative Brand Communication at ESDESIGN?

Because of its online methodology, the flexibility they offered me, the professionals who taught all the subjects of the Master’s, and the more human side of the school, which was vital to my decision.

Define ESDESIGN in three words.

Professional, connected to the sector—it is a school very much oriented towards creating links with both the design sector and the branding and creativity industries. And, above all, professionalism, because that is what everyone who works there conveys from minute zero.

What would you highlight most about ESDESIGN? Why?

The flexibility it allows: the fact of having one subject per week, being able to organise your own time, having constant contact with both your academic coordinator and your lecturers, and seeing that there is genuine progression.

What advice would you give to someone who wants to study the Professional Master’s Degree in Branding and Creative Brand Communication?

To keep in mind that this is an investment in their future and that they should really make the most of this time and the experience.

Who is your go-to designer?

I really like Yayoi Kusama, but on a work level, I usually look closely at and take references from what major agencies in the audiovisual sector are doing; I like to see what trends there are and how I can incorporate them into my day-to-day work.

Which value do you identify with as a designer? Why?

"Vértigo" (Vertigo), because I think it is very important when you carry out a project to have that "something", those butterflies that make the projects you do have their own glow and stand out. Risk, in the end, is closely related to that vertigo, to the "what might happen".

Thank you very much for your words, Júlia! :)
