ESDESIGN takes part in the study support programme for Ecuadorian residents in Spain promoted by Planeta Formación y Universidades

The initiative, developed in collaboration with the Embassy of Ecuador in Spain, will facilitate access to higher education for Ecuadorian professionals through scholarships to study master’s programmes in design.

ESDESIGN, Escuela Superior de Diseño de Barcelona, part of Planeta Formación y Universidades, is taking part in a new edition of the study support programme in collaboration with the Embassy of Ecuador in Spain. This initiative aims to facilitate access to quality higher education for Ecuadorian citizens residing in Spain, supporting their academic and professional development.

The programme forms part of the social impact initiatives promoted by Planeta Formación y Universidades and seeks to foster the talent of young people and professionals who wish to continue their education and expand their academic and career opportunities.

For the 2026 call, various study grants will be offered for programmes across different areas of knowledge delivered by the educational institutions of Planeta Formación y Universidades. These grants will cover different percentages of tuition fees, with the aim of facilitating access to higher education.

In this context, ESDESIGN joins this initiative by offering study grants for several of its master’s programmes, reinforcing its commitment to training new design professionals and creating educational opportunities for international students.

Interested candidates may submit their application through the programme website between 20 May and 13 July 2026, provided they meet the established requirements, including Ecuadorian nationality, residency in Spain and compliance with academic entry criteria.

ESDESIGN joins other educational institutions within Planeta Formación y Universidades, such as EAE Business School, OBS Business School, VIU (International University of Valencia), UNIE University, Innovación en Formación Profesional (IFP), INESDI Business School, BIU University, Universitat Carlemany, CORE School of Management, Barcelona Culinary Hub and IBERONEX to promote access to higher education and strengthen academic exchange between Spain and Ecuador.

Through this collaboration, ESDESIGN reaffirms its commitment to the internationalisation of talent and to promoting design education as a driver of professional and creative development.
