Student Portfolio: STUDIO-RE

STUDIO-RE is the project by Miguel López, student of the Professional Master’s Degree in Fashion Business and Brand Management at ESDESIGN.

The main intention of the author is for the brand to become a space where extending the life of garments becomes the new way of consuming fashion. He argues that in the current landscape there is no need to create, but rather to recreate what already exists. The studio aims to offer services such as garment repairs and customisation, events, conferences and workshops. In the workshops, the goal is to create a relationship between garment - client - designer - artisan with the aim of re-living wardrobes.

Through three main services (RE-pair, RE-create and RE-understand), followers of the initiative will be able to give a new life to their garments, whether through the hands of the team behind the project, their own, or even other hands, by donating their garments to STUDIO-RE.
