Study Plan of the Professional Master’s Degree in Fashion Business & Brand Management
The online Professional Master’s Degree in Fashion Business & Brand Management consists of 10 modules, a Final Master’s Project, 1 open session, masterclasses, 2 additional programme-related workshops and 2 transversal workshops.
You will explore how the fashion and textile industry truly operates, examining its culture, its most influential brands, and the entire value chain from design to communication. You will analyse how a fashion brand is built (its values, its product and its image) and gain insight into textile materials and the innovations transforming the industry. You will also delve into sustainability, eco-fashion and inclusion, understanding their impact on the present and future of the sector.

MIREIA G. LARA, CONSULTANT AND RESEARCHER SPECIALISING IN FASHION, TEXTILE CULTURE AND SUSTAINABILITY
She teaches at several design schools, focusing on trends, emerging brands, sustainable fashion and textile culture. She advises emerging brands such as BACK TO ECO, specialising in denim upcycling, and designs training programmes for companies in the sector, such as PRIVALIA. She specialises in textiles, colour, fashion history, contemporary fashion and street style, combining her academic work with research and writing on fashion for blogs and publishers such as Planeta.
You will work with the main tools within the Adobe suite to create and transform digital images applied to fashion communication. You will develop a foundation in graphic design and learn to confidently handle photo editing and the creation of visual documents using Photoshop and digital resources. The aim is for you to use these tools with a creative mindset, exploring art direction and turning your ideas into powerful, expressive imagery.

RAÚL RAMOS, ART DIRECTOR
Known as Pink Morro, he is a graphic designer, art director, visual artist and creative mentor. With over 10 years of experience in design, advertising and art direction, he has worked both as a freelancer and within his own studio, Cocolia. He is co-founder and co-director of the Blanc! festival, one of the most relevant graphic design events in Catalonia, and has curated exhibitions on key figures in design such as Vasava, Josep Maria Mir and Josep Pla-Narbona. As an artist, he develops his work under the name Pink Morro, exploring impulse, intuition and chance through sculpture, set design and painting. His work is characterised by an expressive use of colour and an abstract sensibility influenced by street art, surrealism and punk aesthetics. He combines his artistic and professional practice with teaching at design schools.
You will explore how a creative director thinks and works, understanding a brand’s DNA and the values a collection must convey. You will work on how to shape a fashion proposal based on the target audience, style and brand identity. You will learn to develop a collection from the initial concept and research through to its structure, fabric typologies, briefings and timelines, always seeking coherence, balance and a strong creative vision.

FRANCESC GRAU, DESIGNER AT ESTUDI STUDIO
Founder and Creative Director of the brand Menchén Tomàs between 1995 and 2016, a benchmark in designer fashion in Barcelona. Throughout his career, he has worked as a footwear and accessories designer for Tod’s and Hogan, and as Creative Director of the women’s collections at Antonio Miró. He currently runs his own design studio, where he creates and produces fashion collections both for his own brand and for other entrepreneurs, combining experience, commercial vision and creative sensitivity.

Tendencias.tv es un medio y productora de contenidos que analiza el presente desde la creatividad, la cultura y los futuros posibles. Desde 2008 lidera el proyecto, donde edita una red internacional de colaboradores y crea contenido semanal en vídeo. Ha trabajado para marcas como Dior, IKEA, Perrier o Zona OZ, siempre desde una mirada que conecta personas, ideas, ciudades y contextos emergentes. Nombrada por Forbes España como una de las Top 40 Futurists, combina su labor en medios con el asesoramiento estratégico creativo y la docencia. You will work on key elements such as storytelling, visual universe, naming and strategic partnerships that bring a recognisable brand to life. You will also reflect on how your brand should behave at the point of sale and which elements are needed to stand out and effectively attract consumers.

JOSÉ MIGUEL SEVILLA, CHIEF GROWTH OFFICER AT SEVICA
Sevica is a company specialising in B2C and B2B fulfilment logistics for retail brands, collaborating with companies such as Pepe Jeans, Munich, Paloma Wool, Gimaguas and Hereu. With a background in advertising, he has developed a cross-disciplinary career within the design ecosystem, from entrepreneurship to large corporations. In 2014, he founded Nuovum, a platform and network of stores dedicated to showcasing emerging designers, featured by international media and trend platforms such as WGSN, Monocle and Rurubu Japan. He has worked across all levels of the fashion and lifestyle sectors, including collaborations with corporations such as Inditex, and has extensive teaching experience in branding and business management applied to the creative industry.
You will learn how to organise and manage a fashion business with a clear and realistic approach. You will analyse the value proposition, the product and pricing strategy, building a roadmap and a mini business plan that enables you to launch your project with coherence. You will learn to structure your ideas in a viable way without losing your creative identity, always aiming for maximum profitability. You will also incorporate sustainability plans and develop a strong economic and commercial perspective.

ADRIANA CAMPO, MARKETING, CRAFT AND LUXURY CONSULTANT AT LABOIS
Specialised in high-end craftsmanship, design and branding for premium products. For over 15 years, she has worked on the development and consolidation of brands and companies, focusing on building identity, differentiation and positioning strategies within sectors such as contemporary craftsmanship, design and luxury. She is the creator and host of the podcast “Sello de Autor”, a reference platform dedicated to showcasing the values and key figures of high-end craftsmanship, where she has interviewed organisations such as Loewe, CCAM, Leandro Dano and the Michelangelo Foundation, as well as leading professionals in interior design, art and product distribution.
You will consolidate the visual universe of your project by defining a coherent and recognisable graphic identity. You will work on materials for social media, packaging, labelling, prints and all the elements that shape a fashion brand’s branding. You will also learn to create documents and mock-ups efficiently, allowing you to present your proposals clearly and strengthen your brand’s aesthetic identity.

LAIA MORET, TEXTILE DESIGNER, TREND ANALYST AND LECTURER SPECIALISING IN FASHION
She has a solid background in design, education and creative direction. Throughout her career, she has worked with brands such as IKEA, Inmaculada García, Texitura, Magazine, Alex André Shoes and MATT Sports, holding roles including fashion designer, retail designer, trend analyst and print designer. Through her personal brand LaMoret, she develops graphic design projects applied to fashion, textile and surface prints, and trend research for sectors such as fashion, beauty and lifestyle. She has extensive experience in visual merchandising, retail and temporary space design, communication campaigns and events, as well as in managing and leading creative teams. Since 2020, she has been a consultant and lecturer at MODABCNTOMEX, and has developed both in-person and e-learning training programmes within the textile and fashion fields.
You will explore fashion collections from a strategic perspective, considering brand, style and market segment, working on thematic capsules to understand different markets. You will learn to define aesthetic codes, standards of beauty and positioning, building a coherent image from the product through to its communication in catalogues, press and social media. You will also develop a strong understanding of contemporary fashion and the brands that are currently shaping the industry.

KRIZIA ROBUSTELLA, DESIGNER AND CEO OF KR STOR
Fashion designer. She made her debut in Madrid at El Ego at Cibeles Fashion Week. Krizia Robustella has redefined the tracksuit, pairing it with heels or shirts, carefully refining details to transform it into a garment that blends luxury with elegance.
You will analyse the most widely used communication formats in the fashion industry today, understanding how both in-house departments and external agencies operate. You will explore key tools such as press releases, dossiers and internal communication, as well as the organisation of events and brand experiences. You will also study online and offline media in detail to understand how, when and where to communicate with coherence and effectiveness.

MACARENA TIENDA, SPECIALIST IN STRATEGIC COMMUNICATION AND FASHION BRAND DEVELOPMENT
With over a decade of experience in branding, creative direction and positioning, she holds a degree in Fashion and Textile Design, a postgraduate qualification in Trend Analysis and an MBA in Business Management. She has worked on projects across Europe and Latin America, advising emerging brands on their expansion. She teaches at fashion schools in areas such as storytelling, commercial planning and innovative communication.
You will learn how to build a solid online sales strategy, integrating social media and e-commerce to enhance your brand’s visibility. You will analyse industry benchmarks, develop realistic budgets and use measurement tools to optimise your digital presence. You will also explore different e-commerce models, from your own platform to marketplaces that could become your first entry points to the market.

MARC MALAGELADA, FOUNDER OF E-SOLUTIONS INSITEOUT
Founder of E-Solutions Insiteout, a company that has created and managed e-commerce platforms across multiple sectors. Within the fashion industry, he developed and managed brands under a 360º model (web design and UX, digital marketing, logistics, stock management, customer service, etc.) for groups such as Comdifil (Friday’s Project, Shana, Double Agent), Venca (Magic-outlet), Luna Brands and Forecast, covering everything from fast fashion brands like Shana to luxury brands such as The Perfect Son. He currently works as an e-commerce consultant and lecturer in e-commerce at the University of Barcelona and ADEN International Business School in Latin America.
A learning space focused on Adobe Creative Cloud software, where you will work with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Lightroom. You will have access to resources and exercises structured across three levels of difficulty: beginner, intermediate and advanced. You will be supported by a professional lecturer specialised in these tools. The course runs for 6 weeks, alongside the introductory workshop and the first module.
A workshop focused on developing fashion brand and business projects through the lens of coolness and image. You will explore how to combine product, art direction and messaging to build cohesive, contemporary and compelling proposals. DOMINNICO, FASHION DESIGNER
DOMINNICO is a genderless prêt-à-porter brand founded in Barcelona in 2016 by its Creative Director, Domingo Rodríguez Lázaro (Alicante, 1994). The brand, which operates under the principles of slow fashion, is characterised by meticulous pattern-making, research into new fabrics and materials, sustainable processes and a futuristic vision of fashion where inclusion and freedom are central to every collection. Celebrities such as Lady Gaga, Beyoncé, Rosalía and Dua Lipa have worn DOMINNICO designs, bringing the brand to the international stage.
In this creative lab, you will explore how to apply artificial intelligence to projects and processes within the fashion industry. You will work with tools that combine technology and creativity through an ethical, empathetic and human-centred approach. You will discover how AI can enhance research, idea generation and visual development.

Founder and Head Storyteller at Storytelling&Co., specialising in the strategic use of corporate storytelling as a communication tool. For over 10 years, he has worked with companies, organisations and institutions, helping them build authentic and emotional narratives that connect with their audiences. He is also part of the Red de Consultores Totales, where he promotes the creation of purpose-driven, human-centred and collaborative businesses capable of generating value and a sense of belonging.
You will explore the principles of Design Thinking through a new perspective on collaborative design that places the user at the centre and rethinks and adapts traditional design processes. You will acquire the tools needed to develop new methodologies in creative and entrepreneurial processes, using the latest techniques such as Manual Thinking, SCAMPER and lateral thinking.

He studied art and industrial design. He works across design, architecture, communication, cultural management and social activism, and writes specialised articles and books.

TOMOKO SAKAMOTO, CO-FOUNDER OF SPREAD
Architect, editor and designer of architecture and design books at Actar. She has designed and coordinated several exhibitions at the RAS exhibition space/bookshop.

Upon successful completion of the programme and after completing the required administrative procedures, you will receive the ESDESIGN Master’s Degree. In addition, you will have the possibility of obtaining a Lifelong Learning Master’s Degree from the Universidad Internacional de Valencia, provided that you meet the academic, documentation, payment and administrative requirements established by the institution.
To obtain this qualification, you must hold a prior university degree (Bachelor’s Degree, Engineering Degree or equivalent). In exceptional cases, if you do not hold such a degree but can demonstrate relevant professional experience in the field and have successfully passed the Master’s assessments, you will be awarded a Certificate from the Universidad Internacional de Valencia (VIU).
