Francesca Tur participates in the ‘Trazos de futuro’ podcast

Francesca Tur, Joint Programme Director of the Master in Fashion Business and Brand Management and Creation at ESDESIGN, Barcelona School of Design — an institution part of Planeta Formación y Universidades — recently participated in a new episode of the ‘Trazos de futuro’ podcast, promoted by the TOUS-ELISAVA Chair together with TOUS Jewelry.
Under the title ‘Creativity in times of uncertainty’, the episode proposes a conversation about the accelerated pace of the present and the challenges brands face in a context marked by digital overexposure. Throughout the dialogue, Francesca Tur emphasised the need for brands to commit to consistency as the central axis of their identity, as opposed to the fleeting nature of trends and the constant pressure to generate immediate impact.
The episode also featured the participation of Pilar Riaño, a journalist specialising in the fashion economy and founder of Modaes, and was hosted by Gemma Cuadrado Soler. Together, they explored how contemporary culture, environmental observation, and the connection with the tangible remain key to building meaningful brands, even in the heart of the digital age.
During the conversation, issues such as the saturation of online discourse, the value of what happens off-screen, and the importance of maintaining a strategic vision aligned with brand values and purpose were addressed. This approach connects with Francesca Tur’s career as a trends researcher and founder of Tendencias.tv.
Francesca Tur’s participation in ‘Trazos de futuro’ reinforces ESDESIGN’s commitment to critical thinking and strategic reflection regarding fashion, communication, and the construction of contemporary brands. We celebrate her contribution to a space that invites us to rethink the future through consistency, culture, and a more conscious look at the present.
